STANDARDS AND PROTOCOLS 1. No alcohol before or during an investigation 2. No drugs are to be used 3. No smoking during an investigation 4. Respect all property 5. Respect others and fellow members 6. No negative attitudes (keep an open mind) 7. No horseplay or foul language. We must be professional at all times. 8. No Ouija boards will be used...ever. Such use is dangerous. 9. Always carry identification with you. 10. No one ever goes on an investigation alone. 11. A prayer of some kind before an investigation promotes trust and strengthens the care among team members. 12. Always ask any anomalies and spirits for their permission to take their photos. 13. Always keep happy thoughts. Spirits feed of the fear and tension. If someone feels this way, then you should leave and return at a later date. 14. Photos are not taken during bad weather. 15. When it is cold outside and taking a photo, hold your breath while doing so. Exhaled breath will show up as an anomaly. 16. Remove all marks, fingerprints and dust from your camera lens before and after. 17. Never wander away from the group. 18. Remove camera straps, and camera lens caps. 19. If you have long hair, make sure it is tied back. 20. Never shoot into the sun as this results in flares. 21. Always look ahead at what you are shooting. Make sure there is nothing shiny that will cause flares and reflections. 22. Avoid shooting when there is dust, bugs, litter, snow etc. 23. For safety reasons, avoid running. 24. Always use new audio tapes if you are recording EVP's 25. Flash is only good for 9-12 feet from camera so focus on that range. |
